I am seriously obsessed with this new recipe! I even made it for my boyfriend and he was equally as obsessed. We are never buying store bought hummus again!
– 1 can of garbanzo beans
– 1 whole, fresh jalapeño
– 1/4 cup canned jalapeños, with the juice
– 1/4 cup tahini
– 2 tbsp minced garlic (or to taste)
– Fresh squeezed lemon juice from half of a lemon
– 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin (or to taste)
– Crushed red peper
In a food processor, mix all the ingredients. Blend until smooth.
That’s it! It’s that simple. Enjoy with fresh veggies such as carrots, celery or bell peppers. Or use in sandwiches and wraps.
